EFCC Probes 8 Buhari Ministers Over Corruption Allegations
At least eight of the former Ministers who served under ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, have been reportedly invited by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) for questioning over allegation of corruption levelled against them.
According to Daily Trust, the eight former Minister who served under ex-President Buhari were invited to the headquarters of EFCC in Abuja for questioning over allegation of corruption against them while they were in office as the Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Daily Trust revealed that, the invitation letters have been sent to the concerned past Ministers before the Abdulrasheed Bawa, the former EFCC boss, was suspended from the office by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The invitation letters requested each of the eight former Ministers to explain how they spent fund allocated to their ministries on some designated projects while they were in their respective offices.
