If Nigeria Doesn’t Live Up To Standard, You Should Be Blamed For That – Obasanjo

The Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has stressed the needs for Nigerians to come to as one in order to recognize the full potential of the country adding that Nigeria needs a good leader for the country to improve.
The Former President of Nigeria made this announcement known to the public while delivering a speech as a keynote speaker at a National Daily Awards in Lagos, where he warned Nigerians that they should be blamed if the country doesn’t live up to its standards.
According to Olusegun Obasanjo, he said, “The world referred to Nigeria, as a giant in the sun, not even a giant in Africa when the then prime minister went to the United Kingdom after the country’s Independence”.
He also added by saying, “I have come to understand that stability, security and peace are necessary conditions for a country’s development and no country can become great without fairness, equity and justice”.
