Election Petition: Onokpasa – If We Rigged The Election We Would Have Scored 20 Million Votes

Barrister Jesutega Onokpasa, a Nigerian lawyer and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, has insisted that his candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, easily won the elections on February 25th without the use of fraud.

Recall that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, located in Abuja, is hearing appeals on the results of the 2023 Presidential election.

In an exclusive interview with TVC news yesterday, Onokpasa claimed that if the election had been manipulated, the margin wouldn’t have been the same.

He claimed that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed’s opponents used a variety of strategies to annoy him and ensure that he lost the election.

Hear him. “They took every precaution to prevent Tinubu from winning the election. They made sure Tinubu did not invest in the election with his funds. They delivered fuel shortages and a new naira, and despite everything, Tinubu triumphed. They are now accusing us of cheating.
