Babagana Umara Zulum: With Buhari Leaving, I Am Relieved That Tinubu/Shettima Are Succeeding Him

Babagana Umara Zulum, the governor of Borno State, has said that while he will much miss the large help he received from President Muhammadu Buhari, he’s fairly glad that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Senator Kashim are filling in. Zulum stated that his administration and he had been extraordinarily relieved by the APC’s victory in the February twenty fifth presidential elections.
When inviting Kashim Shettima, the vice president-elect, to a Sallah lunch at the Government House in Maiduguri on Friday, Governor Zulum gave a speech.
“It is one of my greatest joys that HE Senator Kashim Shettima is here today and waiting to be sworn in as the Vice President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Ever since I was inaugurated as governor in 2019, it has been one of my prayers.
“On another occasion, President Buhari bemoaned that no one is helping as much as they ought to in resolving the issues in Borno State. This has been one of my nightmares. Insha Allah, I shall have a boss and a brother at my side for the upcoming four years who will support me, the Borno State government, and its citizens.
