Watch Graham Potter’s First Training Session in Charge of Chelsea

The new manager of Chelsea Football Club, Graham Potter has started his training session with his new players.
The former manager of Brighton was appointed as a replacement for Thomas Tuchel who was sacked by Chelsea on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. According to reports from Stamford Bridge, Tuchel was sacked because of the recent poor run of results by Chelsea this season across all competitions.
He said in his first interview on the club’s website that he wants to build a flexible team of players that are willing to make mistakes and are very brave.
I want a tactically flexible, attacking, possession-based team. Players that are brave, that aren’t afraid to make mistakes. That can get on the ball and show courage and really try to enjoy their football. If we can create an environment where people think that we are trying to help them, trying to improve and make them better, maybe they will try a bit harder and do a bit better, I have to remind myself of this as it takes me 24-48 hour to come out of the darkness if we get beat.
Potter has not managed any top team since he started his coaching career, the first team he managed was Swansea Football Club during the 2018/19 football season. He later became the manager of Brighton at the start of the 2019 season until he was appointed manager of the Blues.
Chelsea supporters will hope that Potter will bring more success to the club than Tuchel achieved while he was in charge of the London club.
