£4,269 raised as Eedris Abdulkareem undergoes surgery today

£4,269 (N2,136,345.49) has been raised via a GoFundMe account for Eedris Abdulkareem who is set to undergo major surgery for a kidney transplant today.
The Nigerian veteran rapper, who was recently diagnosed with kidney failure, shared his GoFundMe account to fans and well-meaning Nigerians on July 22, Friday.
He appreciated his fans and well-wishers for their show of love and support, since the announcement of his health issues
Abdulkareem said; “This is your brother and comrade Eedris Abdulkareem of “Nigeria Jaga Jaga” fame. First, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to you all for the unalloyed love and care you have shown me since this sad news broke.
“I sincerely appreciate and love you all for this outpouring of genuine love and care.
“However, based on the requests I have been receiving on the need for gofundme activities.

“I am feeling better, strong and agile in body and soul, while awaiting the doctors’ summons for the surgery procedures scheduled for any time from now.

The goal of the GoFundMe account was £48,000 but as of the time of filing this report, only £4,269 has been raised by 164 donors.
