Davido reply to Buhari tweet: You will leave a lasting legacy behind

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari for allowing a free and fair election to take place in Osun State,

Davido said he was impressed by Buhari’s congratulatory message to the Osun Governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke over his victory in Saturday’s governorship poll.

Reacting to Buhari’s message, Davido tweeted that he would certainly leave a lasting legacy behind.

“You will leave a LASTING legacy ! God bless you for this act alone sir,” he said.

He also tweeted that it was God that won the election for Adeleke.

“God won. Osun won. You won. We all won! Imole Deeeeee,” he added.

Davido also lashed out at Governor Gboyega Oyetola for not congratulating his uncle and for saying that he was still studying the results of the election.

“What you should be doing is calling to congratulate your successor. Forget studies,” he tweeted.
