Kida Kudz
Olukayode Odesanya, known professionally as Kida Kudz, is a British-Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and entertainer. He was born on January 27, 1995, in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Kida Kudz gained national recognition in 2010 after winning the second season of the Peak Talent Show at the age of 15, a breakthrough that marked the beginning of his professional music career. He later relocated to the United Kingdom, where he continued to develop his sound by blending Afrobeats with UK rap, grime, and hip-hop influences—a style he describes as “Afroswank.”
Over the years, Kida Kudz has built a reputation as one of the pioneers bridging the gap between African and British urban music. His discography includes popular songs such as Issa Vibe, Again, Jiggy Bop, Buga, and Ball Till We Fall. He has also collaborated with artists including Burna Boy, Wiley, Ms Banks, Abra Cadabra, and PsychoYP.
Recognized for his energetic delivery and cross-cultural appeal, Kida Kudz continues to expand his presence across both the African and UK music scenes through his innovative fusion of Afrobeats and contemporary rap.
